Ali3N Studios LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Show Me Your Kitties (“SMYK” or the “App”). This page describes the standards and measures we maintain to keep children safe, in line with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.
1. Our Commitment
SMYK is a photo-sharing app exclusively for cats. We strictly prohibit any content, conduct, or use of the App that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses a child. This includes CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any other form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. Violations result in immediate content removal, account termination, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.
- Content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors.
- Grooming, solicitation, or attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes.
- Any non-cat content — SMYK is for photos of cats only; all other imagery is off-topic and removed.
3. How We Prevent and Detect Abuse
- Automated moderation on every upload. Before a photo becomes visible, it is screened by automated image moderation (AWS Rekognition and, where needed, Anthropic Claude vision via AWS Bedrock) to confirm it depicts a cat and to detect disallowed content, including nudity and sexual content. Posts that fail moderation are rejected and removed.
- Human review of reports. Our team reviews reported content and takes action, including removal and account termination.
- Age requirement. SMYK is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
- No private messaging. The App has no direct or private chat feature; interactions are limited to public posts and comments, which are subject to moderation and reporting.
4. Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Anyone can report a suspected child safety violation:
- In the App: use the Report option available on any post, comment, or user profile.
- By email: contact our child-safety point of contact at developer@ali3nstudios.com.
Reports of suspected CSAE/CSAM are treated as our highest priority and are reviewed promptly.
5. Compliance and Reporting to Authorities
We comply with all applicable child safety laws. When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we remove it, preserve relevant information as required by law, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline and/or to the relevant regional or national authorities. We cooperate with law enforcement as required.
